Citron crested cockatoo parrot-colored citron is a subspecies of crested parrot such as sulfur and some parrots are small and white with orange crest. Can be distinguished from those with both the ridge crest as their distinctive sulfur, and by size, those with citron color crest are somewhat higher with about 35-38cm. Another difference is that the sulfur crested parrots have a yellow stain orange ear, and those with citron color crest, the bottom of the flight feathers is yellow.
These parrots can live up to 40 years, most dying from illness or wounds. Some parrots are active, very energetic and very playful. They are very curious and likes to crunch some objects but not as destructive as other parrots cockatoo. 
We must always be provided with toys, pieces of wood or branches that you can crunch. Young parrots should get used to people and be exposed to a variety of situations such as: November cages, toys, visits to the vet, cutting claw and wing to avoid fear of new situations. Although not as demanding and possessive as the white, older, usually do not speak very well.

Care should be taken not to cut their flight feathers excessively, because parrots often fall and may hurt. Because these parrots fly better than molucani and umbrella cockatoo parrots, should be cut some more feathers.
